1 to 1.5lbs of minced ground chuck
1 x small onion finley chopped (as small as you can)
1 x Table Spoon tomatoe ketchup
1 x Tbs of Soy Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Teaspoon of thyme (fresh is best but dried will do)
Half a Tsp of salt and a touch of freshly ground black pepper
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and form patties around half an inch in heaviness. You probably will get around 4 burger patties from this.
Get your grill ready on a medium to high heat and turn up to temperature. Gently place on the grill for around 4 minutes one side and 3 minutes the other being careful not to disrupt your patties as you turn them. Qualify after this time with a skewer in the centre to examine they are cooked to your preference . To create the best hamburgers in the world you are now going to have to set the burgers ‘resting’ on a warm plateful with some foil coating for about 3 minutes. This will grant the all the best juices to reabsorb back into the meat.
When 3 minutes have passed (it will seem like 3 days!) serve them up with some crisp salad and home made chips – the worlds best hamburgers are now ready for you to eat !
